The Beacon Dream

Beacon, formerly SEP Montana, has been in continuous operation since 2007 and has served hundreds of youth, many of whom have chosen to be baptized during their camp experience.  Our mission is to be the premier faith-based youth camp in the Lewis and Clark, Broadwater & Jefferson counties area.  We want kids to have fun, develop friendships and experience an encounter with Jesus Christ.

Fun.  Friends.  Faith.

Growth Fund

We have created a ‘growth fund’ with the intention of acquiring a piece of property in which a permanent youth camp facility can be built.  Funds donated to the growth fund will be used as follows:

PRIMARY INTENTION:

  • Purchase of physical property/land
  • Making permanent type development (such as digging wells, building dorms, pavilions, etc.)

SECONDARY INTENTION:

  • Establishing new programs to substantially enhance the camp experience – e.g. building a new ropes course, etc.

How can you be part of the Beacon Dream?

PAYMENT PLAN

A person may start a ‘payment pledge’ to become a donor.  Benefits are only available after a donor level has been reached.

  • These donations must be earmarked for the growth fund to be set aside from the regular operating budget.
  • All funds must be received by the end of the fundraiser.
  • Once the initial number of campaign donors have been reached, future donors benefits may differ from this initial fundraising effort.

TIME FRAME

This fundraising campaign shall continue until the goals have been achieved or August 31, 2026.

It is estimated that Beacon will seek to identify a property, based upon funds and market conditions, and initiate a purchase within 2 years of this campaign completion.
